Fire-fighting measures

- Suitable extinguishing media: Use fire extinguishing media suitable to local surrounding condition Carbon dioxide, foam, chemical powder

- Unsuitable extinguishing media: Water jet

- Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: Decomposition products released in a fire (e.g. oxides of carbon etc.) should be considered as probably harmful if inhaled.

- Advice for fire fighter: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus

Accidental release measures

- Personal precautions: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus.

- Protective equipment and emergency procedures: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus.

- Environmental precautions: Do not allow to get into waste water or waterways; if this occurs, inform the relevant water authority at once. Avoid run-off water entering the drains (e.g. use barriers)

- Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Adhere to personal protective measures. Remove all sources of ignition. Take up with absorbent material, e.g. sand, sawdust, into tightly closed containers. Label container and dispose of as prescribed.

Handling and storage

- Precautions for safe handling: Adhere to personal protective measures. Remove all sources of ignition. Take up with absorbent material, e.g. sand, sawdust, into tightly closed containers. Label container and dispose of as prescribed.

• Wash hands before breaks and at the end of work.
• It is recommended that those with a medical history of sensitisation should not handle this product.

2. Organisational protection measures; no data
3. Hand protection; Protective gloves. The glove material has to be impermeable and resistant to the product/ the substance/ the preparation. Selection of the glove material on consideration of the penetration times, rates of diffusion and the degradation.
Material of gloves - The selection of the suitable gloves does not only depend on the material, but also on further marks of quality and varies from manufacturer to manufacturer. · Penetration time of glove material
The exact break through time has to be found out by the manufacturer of the protective gloves and has to be observed

4. Feet protection; no data
5. Body protection; Protective overall.
6. Eye protection; Safety goggles
7. Respiratory protection; Approved respirator (e.g. EN 149:2001 FFP3) if ventilation is insufficient.

Stability and reactivity

1. Reactivity ; no data
2. Chemical stability ; Stable at room temperature under normal conditions.
3. Possibility of hazardous reactions ; Hazardous polymerisation may occur
4. Conditions to avoid ; Directy sunlight, source of heat, open flames, sparks and high temperature.
5. Incompatible materials ; Oxidiser, acids and alkaline materials.
6. Hazardous decomposition products; May produce allyl alcohol with high temperature or high humidity.

Disposal considerations

Waste treatment methods; In accordance with national and local authority regulations, e.g. The Hazardous Waste (England & Wales) Regulations 2005. EU Hazardous Waste Regulations.
