Study Conclusion: "The study was conducted according to the test guideline. HOP EXTRACT exhibited some respiration inhibition at 1000mg/l. The definitive test was not required by the sponsor and was, therefore, not performed. HOP EXTRACT also demonstrated no abiotic response.

The 3-hour EC50 of HOP EXTRACT to activated sludge respiration inhibition was determined to be >1000mg/l (using linear interpolation) during the preliminary study.

The NOEC for HOP EXTRACT was determined to be 100mg/l using direct observation."
