Boiling pt.:
ca. 299.9 °C
Atm. press.:
> 1 011 - < 1 014 hPa

The preliminary study and measurements were performed under atmospheric pressure of 1011-1014 hPa.

Three series of measurements were performed in the temperature range 100 - 400.0 °C. Below the temperature of 280.0 °C, the temperature gradient of 3 °C/min was used. Above 280.0 °C the used gradient was 0.5 °C/min. (at about 10.0 °C below the expected boiling temperature).

The measuring accuracy depends on the BÜCHI Boiling Point M-565 apparatus accuracy. The accuracy of the apparatus is defined as: up to - 400.0 °C is equal to 0.5 °C (when heated 1 °C/min). In this study, the accuracy of the apparatus was equal to 0.5 °C.

Conclusions:
The boiling point of the test item was observed at temperature of 299.9 ± 0.1 °C under atmospheric pressure of 1011-1014 hPa.
Executive summary:

Determination of the boiling point was performed in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedure SOP/BS-26/b. The boiling point determination using capillary tube in metal block was performed according to EEC method A.2 “Boiling temperature” (1.4.4. Method according to Siwoloboff), which is in conformity with the OECD Guideline for Testing of Chemicals no 103 “Boiling point”. The capillary tube in heated metal block method was used with the BÜCHI Melting Point B-565 apparatus. The measurements were performed in three samples of the test item. The boiling point of the test item was observed at temperature of 299.9 ± 0.1 °C under atmospheric pressure of 1011-1014 hPa.

Description of key information
