Justification for type of information:
An animal study was considered unjustified for basic toxicokinetics. Instead an assessment of toxicokinetic behaviour was made based on all the available information on the substance. This is in accordance with Annex VIII of REACH which states in toxicokinetics "Assessment of the toxicokinetic behaviour of the substance to the extent that can be derived from the relevant available information". Please see section 13 'Assessment Reports' for the assessment of toxicokinetic behaviour.
