Executive summary:

The ultimate biodegradability of cyclododecanone was tested in the BODIS test (Two Phase Closed-Bottle test) according to the draft ISO guideline 10708 by Hüls AG (1989). The test media were inoculated with activated sludge and the oxygen consumption was monitored at weekly intervals over a period of 28 days. The test substance was observed to be readily biodegradable (93% degradation within 28 days).

The study was assessed as "reliable with restrictions".
