Propylene glycol methyl ether acetate is known to be stable in many organic solvents.

Examination of the structure of propylene glycol methyl ether acetate shows that there are no reactive groups that may give rise to instability of propylene glycol methyl ether acetate in most of the common organic solvents. Propylene glycol methyl ether acetate is a known solvent. Propylene glycol methyl ether acetate is known to be miscible with and stable in many organic solvents.
