The information contained within this robust summary document comes from studies which are in the ownership of Arch Chemicals Inc. and which are protected in several regions globally. This information may not be used for any purpose other than in support of the Chemical safety Report submitted by Arch Chemicals Inc. under Regulation EC 1907/2006.

For all of the three trophic levels (fish, invertebrates and algae), valid acute toxicity tests with ZPT are available (see Tables 7.1, 7.6 and 7.11). Further to this, acute toxicity tests are given for the relevant major metabolites from the degradation process for ZPT ; Pyrithione sulphonic acid, Pyridine sulphonic acid and Pyrithione disulphide (Tables 7.2, 7.3, 7.4, 7.7, 7.8, 7.9, 7.12, 7.13 & 7.14)

In addition, long-term tests for fish and invertebrates are provided. A series of long-term tests for fish, invertebrates and plants are also provided (see Tables 7.5, 7.10, 7.11, 7.12, 7.13, 7.4 & 7.15).
