First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Inhalation exposure is not envisaged.

Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse immediately with water for at least 15 minutes. Seek

medical attention.

Emergency measure - Skin: Wash affected areas immediately with soap and water after

removing contaminated clothing. Seek medical attention.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Carbon dioxide, dry chemical and foam may be used.

Containers should be cooled with a water spray.

Product arising from burning: Products of combustion may contain oxides of carbon and

water.

Protective equipment: Full protective clothing and a self-contained breathing

apparatus should be worn.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear suitable protective clothing (see 2.3.1).

Prevent spreading of spills with dikes, then absorb with

earth, sand, sawdust or similar inert material. Transfer to

labelled containers and dispose of by incineration in

accordance with local regulations.  Do not allow spill to

enter drinking water supplies.

Handling and storage

Handling: Ensure adequate ventilation.  Wear suitable protective

clothing, cuffed butyl rubber gloves and safety goggles with

plastic face shield.

Storage: Store in tightly closed containers in a cool, dark, dry

well-ventilated area. Avoid open flames or other sources of

ignition.

Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Package in one litre aluminium can, and 32 and 200 litre

epoxy resin-coated drums.
