Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse immediately with plenty of water for at least 15
minutes. Seek medical advice.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with plenty of soap and water.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical advice.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Water, foam, dry powder of carbon dioxide may be used.
Product arising from burning: The substance is mixture of metal and phosphorus oxides and
no products of combustion are expected. However, smoke may
contain oxides of zirconium, phosphorus, silver and sodium.
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: A self-contained breathing apparatus should be worn.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear suitable protective clothing, see 2.3.1. Avoid dust
formation. Vacuum up spillage and place in a suitable
container for disposal. Do not allow to enter public sewers
and watercourses.
Handling and storage
Handling: Use local exhaust ventilation. Wear a NIOSH approved
respirator during manufacturing, processing and use in
crystalline form.
The use of rubber or polyethylene gloves is optional.
The use of eye protecion (safety spectacles) is optional.
Storage: Store in sealed containers in a dry place
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Bag made of polyethylene film containing 5 kg of substance.
The bag is contained within a corrugated cardboard box.
