Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The half-lifes of the test substance at pH 7 and pH 9 were determined to be:
- at 20 °C: 1203 h = 50 d (pH7) and 17532 h = 730 d (pH9).
- at 25 °C: 679 h = 28 d (pH7) and 8331 h = 347 d (pH9).
The hydrolysis experiments with the test substance at pH 4 showed no pseudo-first oder kinetic. Therefore it can be assumed that at pH 4 there is no hydrolysis reaction.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Half-life for hydrolysis:
28 d
at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

The hydrolysis of the test substance was investigated according EU method C.7 and OECD guideline no. 111. The experiments at pH 4 showed no pseudo-first order kinetic. Therefore it can be assumed that there is no hydrolysis reaction at pH value.

The half-lifes of the test substance at pH 7 and pH 9 were determined to be:

- at 20 °C: 1203 h = 50 d (pH7) and 17532 h = 730 d (pH9).

- at 25 °C: 679 h = 28 d (pH7) and 8331 h = 347 d (pH9).

One major hydrolysis product (> 10 % of the applied dose) was identified in the experiments of tier 2 (retention time 1.6 min).

The major hydrolysis products are related to the proposed pathway of hydrolysis.
