Executive summary:

The acute fish toxicity study was performed using the methodology equivalent to OECD Guideline 201. In this study, three groups, each containing 8 Trout fish were exposed to test concentrations of 100, 200 and 1000 mg/L for 48 hours. At concentrations 100 and 200 mg/L, all fish were alive at 24 hours and 48 hours. At 1000 mg/L 6 fish were alive after 24 hours exposure and 2 after 48 hours exposure. based on these findings, the following results were obtained:

*LC0 = 200 mg/L

*LC50 = 590 mg/L

*LC100 >= 1000 mg/L.

Description of key information

The 48h LC50 to trout was determined to be 590 mg/L.
