Additional information

Experimental data for the assessment of toxicity of DODA (CAS 7300 -34 -7) to aquatic microorganisms are available. In a study with Pseudomonas putida according to DIN 38412-8 the 17-h EC50 was determined for not pH-adjusted test solutions to be 135.7 mg/L; the 17-h EC10 was found to be 65.3 mg/L (BASF AG, 1989; report no. 89 -2151). Based on the available experimental data for the test substance, it is concluded that inhibition of the degradation activity of activated sludge is not anticipated when DODA (7300-34-7) is introduced in appropriately low concentrations.
