Description of key information

In accordance with column 2 of REACH Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006 Annex VII, the test on explosiveness (required in REACh Regulation, Annex VII, section 7.11.) does not need to be conducted if the molecule does not contain chemical groups associated with explosive properties. This is the case for cesium carbonate. Moreover, it has been shown for other cesium salts (cesium hydroxide monohydrate, cesium iodide, cesium nitrate, cesium sulphate, cesium chloride) that these salts are not explosive according to the Test Guideline EEC A.14.
