Administrative data

First-aid measures

After inhalation: supply fresh air; consult doctor in case of complaints.

- After skin contact: immediately rinse with water.

- After eye contact: rinse opened eye for several minutes under running water. If symptoms persist, consult a doctor.

- After swallowing: if symptoms persist consult a doctor.  

Fire-fighting measures

- Suitable extinguishing agents:CO2, powder or water spray. Fight larger fires with water spray. Use fire extinguishing methods suitable to surrounding conditions.

- For safety reasons unsuitable extinguishing agents: none.

- Special hazards caused by the substance, its products of combustion or esulting gases: formation of toxic gases is possible during heating or in case of fire. In case of fire, the following can be released: Carbon monoxide (CO).

- Protective equipment: wear self-contained respiratory protective device.

Accidental release measures

- Person-related safety precautions: wear protective equipment. Keep unprotected persons away.

- Measures for environmental protection: do not allow product to reach sewage system or any water course.

- Measures for cleaning/collecting: allow to solidify. Pick-up mechanically.

Exposure controls / personal protection

-Ingredients with limit values that require monitoring at the workplace: the product does not contain any relevant quantities of materials with critical values that have to be monitored at the workplace.

- Personal protective equipment:

General protective and hygienic measures: Immediately remove all soiled and contaminated clothing. Avoid contact with the eyes and skin. Safety shower at proximity. Eye wash station at proximity.

Respiratory protection: use suitable repiratory protective device in case of insufficient ventilation.

Protection of hands: PVC gloves.

Eye protection: tightly sealed googles face protection

Body protection: protective working clothing.

Stability and reactivity

- Thermal decomposition/conditions to be avoided: to avoid thermal decomposition do not overheat.

-Materials to be avoided: reacts with acids, alkalis and oxidizing agents.

- Dangerous decomposition products: no dangerous decomposition products known.

Disposal considerations

Product:

- Recommendation: must be specially treated adhering to official regulations. After prior treatment product has to be disposed of in an incinerator for hazardous waste adhering to the regulations pertaining to the disposal of particularly hazardous waste.

Uncleaned packaging:

- Recommendation: disposal must be made according to official regulations. Packaging may be reused or recycled after cleaning.
