Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove immediately to fresh air.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse eyes immediately with plenty of water, if necessary
seek attention of an eye specialist.
Emergency measure - Skin: Remove contaminated clothes. Wash the skin with soap and
water.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Induce vomiting, give water to drink. Seek medical attention
immediately.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Foam, CO2
Product arising from burning: H2O, CO2, CO
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: self contained respirator
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Adsorb spilt product with sand or other adsorbent, clean
then with detergent and water. Wear gloves. Label waste
containers accordingly.
Handling and storage
Handling: The substance will be pumped from the container into the
reactor, nevertheless protective gloves (e.g. chloroprene
gloves or Tri gloves according to DIN 4841) should be worn.
Storage: Store in a cool place, protected from light (in full
containers).
Keep containers tightly closed and protect them from
fall-down. Avoid residues on the containers.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Stability and reactivity
Danger other than fire: none
Chemical reaction with water: no reaction
Disposal considerations
Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Recycling by fractionated distillation;
after spilling: extraction of the sand or the soil.
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: No reasonable procedure for neutralisation does exist.
Therefore it is necessary to respect the precaution
measures.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Incineration to water and CO2.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: It does not get into the waste water.
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: The substance is not available for the public at large.
