Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Move the exposed subject to fresh air. If breathing is
difficult ensure and maintain ventilation. Give oxygen as
appropriate. The exposed subject should be kept warm and at
rest. Obtain medical attention if any adverse reaction
occurs.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Wash immediately with plenty of clean and gently flowing
water. Continue for at least 15 minutes. Obtain medical
attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: Remove contaminated clothing and flush the exposed area with
large amounts of water. Obtain medical attention if skin
reaction occurs.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical attention immediately.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Water, dry powder or foam extinguishers are recommended.
Product arising from burning: Products of combustion may contain soot and oxides of carbon
(CO CO2).
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Self-contained breathing apparatus and full protective
equipment are recommended.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Fence or cordon the affected area and do not allow
indviduals to touch or walk through the spilled material
unless wearing appropriate protective clothing.
Prevent entry to waterways, sewers, surface drains and
poorly ventilated areas.
Collect material and place it in a suitable properly
labelled container for recovery or disposal. Wash down
spillage site with plenty of water only if waste-water can
be directed to a waste water treatment system.
Handling and storage
Handling: The substance should be handled by trained individuals
wearing long sleeved clothing and appropriate personal
protective equipment (nitrile or neoprene gloves, coveralls
and splash proof eye protection). Ensure that the eyes and
skin are protected.
In emergency situations eye goggles should be worn with a
full face shield.
Storage: Store under cool, dry conditions out of direct sunlight in
closed containers.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: 55 gallon closed head steel drums and 5 gallon steel pails.

Disposal considerations
Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: The imported preparation is consumed or mixed with other
materials during use and there is no possibility of
recycling the substance.
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: Not known.
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Not recommended.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: This is the recommended method of disposal.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: Not recommended.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - other: Landfill of low level waste is possible, as permitted by
local regulations.
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: The formulations will be applied to surfaces and therefore
recovery/recycling is not considered possible.
Public at large - Possibility of neutralisation: Not known.
Public at large - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Not recommended.
Public at large - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Not recommended.
Public at large - Possibility of destruction - water purification: Not recommended.
Public at large - Possibility of destruction - others: Landfill of low level waste is possible, as permitted by
local regulations.
For consumer uses, product containers will be disposed of
into domestic waste disposal systems.
