Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The adsorption coefficient of the test substance was determined in a study by Brekelmans (2004). The study was conducted under GLP conditions using the HPLC method in accordance with OECD guideline 121.

The pKa values for ionisable groups were determined to be 1.50 basic group (1,2,4-TRIAZOLE) and -3.90 basic group (RCON(R)2) using a computer calculation program. As the test substance is not ionised for more than 10 % within pH 5.5 to 7.5, the mobile phase used during the HPLC method was not buffered.

In the HPLC chromatograms of the test substance, one large and one small test substance peaks were observed. It was assumed that the large peak derives from the major component of test substance whereas the small peak derives from an impurity.

Under the conditions of the test the adsorption coefficient (Koc) of the test substance was determined to be > 4.3 x 10^5 and log Koc > 5.63 at 35 °C using the HPLC method. The impurity observed during the test was determined to have an adsorption coefficient of 2.1 x 10^2 and log Koc 2.33 at 35 °C.
