Additional information

Tetraethylene glycol is readily biodegradable and has very low potential for bioaccumulation (log Kow =-2.02). The EC 50s/LC50s - based on acute toxicity data in fish, Daphnia and algae - are higher than 1000 mg/l. Therefore it can be considered as non-hazardous for the environment, so the derivation of PNECs is not warranted.
