Applicant's summary and conclusion

Executive summary:

The measured octanol (~lipid) solubility of pigment blue 61 is 23.8 mg/l. Based on a typical content of the pigment content in fish lipid at 5 %, the wet weight basis would be at maximum 1.19 mg/l in fish. Thus, the calculated BCF is 476 according to the method as described in the literature, which means the bioaccumulation potential of pigment blue 61 is low.
