Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

One study (Peither, 2002) is included in this dossier and regarded as a key study (Klimisch score of 1). The biodegradability of T002102 was determined according to the OECD Guideline 301F and EU Method C.4-D. Under the conditions of the test, T002102 was determined to be not biodegradable within 28 days.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Biodegradation in water:
under test conditions no biodegradation observed

Additional information

One study was available, measuring the ready biodegradability of T002102 over 28 days using a manometric respirometry test (Peither, 2002). The biodegradation of T002102 exposed to a microbial inoculum in aerobic medium at initial test concentrations of 103 and 105 mg/L was measured. The inoculum was activated sludge.

T002102 was found to be not biodegradable under the test conditions within the 28-d exposure period.
