Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove victim to fresh air. Seek medical attention if
necessary.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse with water for at least 15 minutes. Immediately take
to a physician for examination and treatment.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash the affected area with water and soap.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Immediately take to a physician for examination and
treatment.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Dry chemical, CO2, foam and water.
Product arising from burning: Nitrogen oxides, carbon oxides and sulfur oxides (derived
from the structure)
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Self-contained breathing apparatus.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Sweep up, place in chemical waste container. Evacuate
unnecessary personnel. Shut off fire, shock or friction.
Prevent spills from entering sewers, watercourses or low
area.
Collect and dump in licensed landfill site or discharge by
incineration in suitable plant.
Handling and storage
Handling: The usual precautions for the handling with chemicals should
be observed, including wearing protective clothing, gloves
and goggles.
Do not expose to UV light source.
Storage: Storage in closed containers cool and dry, protected from
physical damages. Do not expose to UV light source, direct
rays of the sun or fluorescent lamp. Prevent generation of
electrostatic charges, e.g. by grounding. Keep away from
sources of ignition.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Glass bottle, size: gallon or quart gallon

Disposal considerations
Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: The substance is used in very small quantities in
photoresists and is decomposed when used. Therefore
recycling/recovering of it is not applicable.
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: None known.
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Disposal via landfill may be possible.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Destruction by incineration in suitable plant is possible.
The substance contains only the following elements: C, H, O,
S and N.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: Should not be discharged to water.
Industry - Possibility of destruction - other: none
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Not applicable since the substance will not become available
to the public at large.
