Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Remarks on result:
other: based on EPI Suite computer estimation (KOWWIN v1.68)

Preliminary estimation

Mass of sample (mg)  Volume of octanol in which sample dissolves (mL)  Estimated solubility (g/L)
 10,000  10  >1,000

Main test

The test material was found to be fully miscible in water and n-octanol, therefore formal testing was not possible. In accordance with the test guidance the Partition Coefficient was

estimated using prediction software (KOWWIN v1.68).

The calculated logPow using SMILES input was 1.05.

Conclusions:
The Log Kow of the test item was estimated to be 1.05 (KOWWIN v1.68).

Description of key information

Based on a guideline study (K1, Dekra, 2014), the test material was found to be insoluble and fully miscible in octanol ratios of 1:1, 1:2 and 2:1 of test material / octanol. Therefore, the partition coefficient of the test item was calculated to be: Log Kow (KOWWIN v1.68 estimated) = 1.05.

Key value for chemical safety assessment
