Justification for type of information:
In accordance with point 9.1.5 column 2 (specific rules for adaptation from column 1) of Annex IX of REACH (Regulation EC 1907/2006), long-term testing on aquatic invertebrates does not need to be conducted as the chemical safety assessment concludes that the substance is of no immediate concern to the environment. The results from acute toxicity tests in aquatic species have shown that the NOEC is greater than the water solubility of the test material. The available data are adequate for classification and labelling purposes and PBT assessment, therefore no further testing is required.
