Applicant's summary and conclusion

Interpretation of results:
non flammable
Remarks:
Migrated information
Conclusions:
LCA08042 could not be ignited with a flame during the preliminary test (contact time of about 2 minutes). Based on the results of this study, LCA08042 would not be considered as "highly flammable" according to the criteria of the guideline. Based on the criteria as set out in CLP, the substance would be considered as "non flammable solid".
Executive summary:

The determination of the flammability of the test item was performed in accordance with the EEC Directive 92/69, EEC Publication No. L383, December 1992 and Council Regulation (EC) No. 440/2008, 30 May 2008, Part A, Methods for the determination of physico-chemical properties, A. 10 “Flammability (solids)”.

In contact with the ignition source, LCA08042 first emitted some sparks, melted afterwards and became colorless. LCA08042 could not be ignited with a flame during the preliminary test (contact time of about 2 minutes). Therefore, no main test was performed.

Based on the results of this study, LCA08042 would not be considered as "highly flammable" according to the criteria of the guideline. Based on the criteria as set out in CLP, the substance would be considered as "non flammable solid".
