The transformation/dissolution concentration of Cobalt at a loading rate of 100 mg/L and after 7 days is higher than he acute ERV, whereas at a loading rate of 10 mg/L the Co-concentration is lower than the acute ERV. Thus, the substance has to be considered as acutely harmful to aquatic organisms.

The transformation/dissolution concentration of Cobalt at a loading rate of 1 mg/L and after 28 days is lower than the chronic ERV. Thus the substance is not harmful based on chronic data.
