Description of key information

Self-decomposition and decomposition in contact with organic and inorganic material dissolved in the water. Ozone converts to oxygen transients and radicals and hence supports the degradation processes of water pollutants. Therefore, although it is known that UV will help convert ozone molecules, photochemical degradation processes in water are not an important fate process for ozone.
