Description of key information
Freshwater
In a 96-hour algae test (Institute of Industrial Organic Chemistry, 708282, 2014) with Navicula pelliculosa the 96h-ErC50 of the test substance was determined to be 27.623 mg/L and the 96h-ErC10 was determined to be 15.453 mg/L. These values are based on initial measured test concentrations.
Marine water
In a 96-hour algae key test (Institute of Industrial Organic Chemistry, 394386, 2014) with Skeletonema costatum, the 96h-ErC50 of the test substance was determined to be 9.921 mg/L and the 96h-ErC10 was determined to be 2.451 mg/L. These values are based on measured concentrations.

Freshwater
In a 96-hour static toxicity test (Institute of Industrial Organic Chemistry, 708282, 2014), the effects the test substance on the growth of the freshwater diatom Navicula pelliculosa was investigated according to OECD 201 (2006) . The algae were exposed to initial measured concentrations of 0 (control), 2.464, 4.776, 9.887, 18.022, 36.679 mg/L, with four replicates per test item concentration and eight replicates per control. Assessment of plant growth was conducted daily. The algae were observed also daily for changes in size and shape comparing to control. The percentage growth inhibition, relative to the control, was calculated for each test concentration from mean growth rates and yield based on number of cells. The 96h-ErC50 of the test substance was determined to be 27.623 mg/L and the 96h-ErC10 was determined to be 15.453 mg/L. These values are based on initial measured test concentrations.
Furthermore in a 72-hour algae supporting test (Eco-Science Corporation, SG-ES2011-B05S, 2011) with Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata, the ErC50 of the test substance was determined to be > 25 mg/L, based on nominal test concentrations.
Moreover, in a 96-hour algae supporting test (BASF SE, 394384, 2014) with Anabaena flos-aquae, both the ErC50 (72 h & 96 h) were determined to be > 46.7 mg/L based on geometric mean measured test concentrations.
Marine water
In a 96-hour static toxicity test (Institute of Industrial Organic Chemistry, 394386, 2014) according to OECD 201 (2006), the effects of the test substance on the growth of the marine diatom Skeletonema costatum was investigated. The algae were exposed to initial measured concentrations of 0.075, 0.218, 0.719, 2.507, 7.494 and 21.974 mg (initial measured test concentrations) and a control, with 4 replicates per test item concentration and 8 replicates per control. The nominal concentrations of the test substance were 243-fold, 81-fold, 27-fold, 9-fold and 3-fold dilution of a centrifuged solution of the loading of 100 mg/L and the centrifuged solution of the loading of 100 mg/L. Assessment of plant growth was conducted daily. The percentage growth inhibition relative to the control was calculated for each test item concentration for the parameters growth rate and yield based on cell density measurements. The biological results are based on initial measured test item concentrations. The 96h-ErC50 of the test substance was determined to be 9.921 mg/L and the 96h-ErC10 was determined to be 2.451 mg/L. These values are based on measured concentrations.
