Comments: The test substance forms a very high viscose solution at the concentration of 100 g/l and shows thixotropic property. It is not possible to use a five fold saturation concentration for the determination of the solubility as required by the EEC method. 0.3 g test substance and 6 ml water form a handling solution.

Conclusions:
The water solubility of FAT 45155/B is at least 48 g/L solution at 20 °C.
Executive summary:

A GLP-compliant water solubility study with FAT 45155/B was carried out according to EEC guideline L 251/A.6, (based on OECD No. 105) using flask method. Based on the study findings, the water solubility of the test substance was determined to be greater than 48 g/L solution at 20 °C, indicating it is very soluble in water.
