All assessment and conversion factors used in the above PNEC calculations were taken from the ECHA guidance document "Guidance on information requirements and chemical safety assessment; Chapter R.10: Characterisation of dose [concentration]-response for environment" along with appropriate equations and methodologies.

Conclusion on classification

Using the 'worst case' aquatic toxicity value; Acute daphnia 48h EC50 = 0.037 mg/L (Sewell & McKenzie, 2005) and based on the fact that no biodegradation was observed, the classification for this endpoint will be:

N; R50/53 according to Directive 67/548/EEC;

and Aquatic Chronic 1; H410 and Aquatic Acute 1; H400 according to Regulation (EC) no 1272/2008.
