General fire hazards:Not availalbe.

Extinguishing media

Suitable extinguishing media

Dry chemica, CO2, water spray or regular foam.

Unsuitable extinguishing media

Do not use a solid water stream as it may scatter and spread fire.

Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture

Fire may produce irritating, corrosive and/or toxic gases.

Advice for firefighters

Special protective equipment for firefighters:

Wear full protective clothing, including helmet, self-contained positive pressure or pressure demand breathing apparatus, protective clothing and face mask.

Special firefighting procedures:

Fight fire from maximum distance or use unmanned hose holders or monitor nozzles.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures

For non-emergency personnel:  Do not touch or walk through spilled material.

For emergency responders: Keep unnecessary personell away.  Do not touch damaged containers or spilled materials unless wearing approprite protective clothing.  Ventilate closed spaces before entering.  Keep upwind of the spilled material and isolate exposure.

Environmental precautions

Prevent entry into waterways, sewers, basements or confined areas.  Do not flush into surface water or sanitary sewer system.

Methods and material for containment and cleaning up

Stop the flow of material, if this is without risk.  Prevent entry into waterways, sewers, basements or confined areas.  Clean up in accordance with all applicable regulations.

Handling and storage

Precautions for safe handling

Avoid contact with skin and eyes.  Do not empty into drains.  Follow all SDS/label precautions even after continer is emptied because they may retain product residues.
