Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove from exposure. Seek medical attention
Emergency measure - Eyes: Flush with water and obtain medical attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash thoroughly with soap and water. Obtain medical
attention if necessary.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Wash out mouth and obtain medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Use dry chemical, foam, carbon dioxide or water fog.
Product arising from burning: Carbon dioxide, nitrogen oxides and water.

Protective equipment: Self-contained breathing apparatus and appropriate
equipment.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and appropriate
clothing. Collect and place in a suitable container for
disposal.
Handling and storage
Handling: The substance must be contained in a plastic lining within
205 litre metal drums. The drums must be sampled in an
enclosed booth with filtered air extract. Operators must
wear air-suits during sampling and while inputting the
substance into the process.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry location, isolated from oxidising
agents. Store upright in sealed, labelled containers.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: 30 gallon high density polyethylene drums. Approximately
120 kg in each drum.

Industry - Possibility of destruction - water purification: This substance should not enter the water treatment system.
In the case of an accidental spillage, material can be
extracted from the water with an organic solvent.
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Not applicable the substance is not present in the final
pharmaceutical product.
