Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The vapor pressure of the two main constituents of isomaltulose greens, isomaltulose and trehalulose, along with the close structural isomer, sucrose, were estimated using the EPI Suite MPBPVP software. The resulting estimates demonstrate that isomaltulose greens has a very low vapor pressure based on its main constituents.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Vapour pressure:
0 kPa
at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

Isomaltulose greens consists mainly of isomaltulose and trehalulose, along with other sugars. Sucrose is a close structural analog to both isomaltulose and trehalulose. Therefore, the vapor pressure of the two main constituents of isomaltulose greens, isomaltulose and trehalulose, along with the close structural isomer, sucrose, were estimated using the EPI Suite MPBPVP software. The calculated vapor pressure values were 1.58E-14 for both isomaltulose and trehalulose and 4.71E-14 for sucrose. These estimates demonstrate that isomaltulose greens would have a very low vapor pressure based on its main constituents.
