Additional information

According to EU method A.17 the test item Aluminium silicate and titanium oxide matrix doted with vanadium, nickel, and antimony showed no signs of oxidising properties in all mixtures of test item and cellulose (Paulus 2009, RL1). The burning rates of the three mixtures (10, 20 and 30 % test item) were not considered as a sign of oxidising properties because the cellulose was smouldering only. Typical signs of oxidising properties, such as sparkling and hissing, were not observed.
