Results from skin irritation studies (minimal redness and slight edema), indicate that DCP is slightly irritating to skin.
Results from eye irritation studies reported marked redness, edema and slight opacity 24 hr after instillation of 0.05 ml DCP into the conjunctival sac of a single rabbit. These effects were fully reversed after 8 days, and indicate that DCP is slightly irritating to the eye.
