Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Results
In the test, an endothermic effect occurred in the temperature range approximately 105 to 125 °C, most likely caused by the melting of the test item. No self-ignition temperature was observed up to the maximum test temperature of 401 °C.
Results
From a starting temperature of approximately 220 °C the temperature of the test item remained permanently slightly above the oven temperature (maximum temperature difference 1 K), and led to a maximum temperature of 402 °C. No sharp temperature increase was observed. Due to the very small difference between the temperatures of the test item and the oven, and the fact that no sharp temperature increase has been observed, the thermal behaviour is not to be classified as self-ignition.
Description of key information
Pure grade and technical grade: no self-ignition
Key value for chemical safety assessment
Additional information
The autoflammability of the test item was determined according to EU Method A.16.
