Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Data on the acute toxicity of the substance are available for three trophic levels (fish, aquatic invertebrates, algae). The most sensitive test organism group in the available tests are fish. The determined effect concentration in semi-static test with Danio rerio was LC50 (96 h): 19.3 mg/L (meas. geom. mean, OECD 203). For Daphnia an EC50 (48 h) of 34 mg/L (arith. mean) was determined in a semi-static test according to OECD 202. In a study on Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata an EC50 (72 h): > 22 mg/L (time-weighted mean) was determined. The EC10 (72 h) was 6 mg/L (time-weighted mean, OECD 201).

Based on the results obtained for the toxicity controls of the available ready biodegradability studies an inhibition of activated sludge microorganisms is not expected (NOEC (14 d): 34.9 mg/L).
