According to REACH Regulation (Annex VIII, 9.2.2.1, column 2), the study on hydrolysis does not need to be done if the test substance is readily biodegradable. In a GLP guideline study, conducted according to OECD Guidelines, the test item proved to be readily biodegradable with >/= 94.4 % mineralization of the initially applied test substance concentration after 28 d incubation.Any further experimental testing is therefore scientifically not necessary.
