- Solids, burning rate:

The substance was tested according to EU method A.10 (Flammability (Solids)) and melted when in contact with the flame. The melting substance did not burn and, thus, is not a readily flammable substance according to EU and UN manual (Bayer, 1991).

- Contact with water:

The substance is not flammable in contact with water as can be derived from handling of the substance as aqueous solution.

- Pyrophoric properties:

The substance does not emit flammable gases in contact with air as can be derived from operational experience.
