Any other information on results incl. tables
no observable decrease in the concentration of the substance in the light, therefore no analytical check for phototransformation products
Applicant's summary and conclusion
- Validity criteria fulfilled:
- yes
- Conclusions:
- Under the test conditions, no decrease of the concentration of 2-chloro-1,3-benzothiazole was observed, and no phototransformation products were analyzed
- Executive summary:
In a test designed to evaluate the stability of the substance in dilute aquatic media in the light and in the presence of air, the concentration of the substance did not decrease during at least three days at 50 °C in buffer at pH 7, in buffer at pH 9, and in a simulated environmental medium (algal nutrient medium containing traces of heavy metals, pH 9 after 3 d). No phototransformation products were analyzed
