Results and discussion

Water solubility
Water solubility:
4.38 mg/L
Details on results:
The water solubility of MeDONA in water was determined to be 4.38 mg/L at 23 °C. Only one sample was prepared and analyzed.

Any other information on results incl. tables

The pH of 1% MeDONA solution is 5.3±0.3.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
MeDONA had a water solubility of 4.38 mg/L at 23 °C.
Executive summary:

The water solubility of MeDONA in water was prepared in 1 wt% in water and shaken for one hour. The saturated sample was centrifuged and the clear aqueous phase was analyzed by GC/ECD. MeDONA had a water solubility of 4.38 mg/L at 23 °C from a single measurement. Since MeDONA has a hydrolytic half-life of 2.68±1.63 minutes in neutral water and a half life of 52.5 ± 1.99 minutes at pH 2 water. As such, experimental measurement of water solubility is not feasible. Therefore, this data is considered not reliable.
