Results and discussion

Results of examinations:
There was no sensitization response to sodium propionate in trials with human subjects following topical use. The chronic use of 10% sodium propionate solution in clinical trials did not result in sensitization but proved to be hypoallergenic. The substance showed local antihistaminic effects.
