Additional information

In the key study Tremain (2008), the vapour pressure of the test material was determined under GLP conditions in accordance with EU Test Method A4 using a vapour pressure balance. This study was assigned a reliability score of 1 in line with the principles for assessing data quality as defined by Klimisch (1997).

A sequence of 4 runs was started after a sample of the test material has been under vacuum for approximately 5 hours. Temperature and vapour pressure readings were determined between 220 and 230 °C with a one hour dwell at 220 °C between runs. Extrapolation using linear regression analysis gave the vapour pressure at 25 °C.

Under the conditions of the test, the vapour pressure was determined to be < 2.3 x 10-5Pa at 25 °C.
