Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Endpoint:
partition coefficient
Type of information:
experimental study
Adequacy of study:
key study
Reliability:
1 (reliable without restriction)
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
OECD Guideline 107 (Partition Coefficient (n-octanol / water), Shake Flask Method)
Deviations:
no
GLP compliance:
no
Type of method:
shake-flask method to: flask method
Partition coefficient type:
octanol-water
Type:
log Pow
Partition coefficient:
ca. -2.2
Temp.:
20 °C
pH:
7.2
Details on results:
log Pow < -2.2
Conclusions:
The log POW, calculated from measurements of all vials is < -2.2.
Executive summary:

The study was performed according OECD 107 method, using the flask method. Partition coefficient was determined using

1-octanol and water.

The log POW, calculated from measurements of all vials is < -2.2.

The calculation of mean, standard deviation and relative standard deviation isn’t meaningful for values which can only be stated as upper limit. Measurements of vial 1, 2 and 3 give the same log POW. The determination is considered to be valid.

Description of key information

The study was performed according OECD 107 method, using the flask method.
The log POW, calculated from measurements of all vials is < -2.2.

Key value for chemical safety assessment
