The lowest key LC50 and EC50 values being in the range 1 -10 mg/l, classification as Aqua acute 2, H401is required according to GHS UN rev.4, 2011.

Ethyl acrylate is readily biodegradable and long-term toxicity data are available on invertebrates and on algae for related acrylates. The lowest NOEC values in invertebrates (Ethyl acrylate) and algae (related acrylates) being in the range 0.1 -1 mg/l, classification as Aqua chronic 3, H412 is required.
