RESULTS/CONCLUSION

The DSC scan indicated that DOTP is a glassy substance and does not exhibit a melting point down to a temperature of -140 ⁰C. There is a glass transition temperature below -67.2 ⁰C, therefore the sample is not considered a solid at temperatures above -67.2 ⁰C. The melting point is reported as <-67.2 ⁰C.
