Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

PNECs are in line with the EU RAR 2005. The only small change is that aquatic PNEC is updated using the EC10 instead of the NOEC. Due to the use of the EPM for predicting the hazard for the benthic compartment also the PNEC sediment values are slightly changed.

Conclusion on classification

The substance is readily biodegradable. Based on an algae toxicity EC50 value of 0.033 mg/L and an EC10 value of 0.007 mg/L, the substance should be classified as Aquatic Acute Cat 1 and Aquatic Chronic Cat 1.

M factor acute: 10

M factor chronic: 1
