Solubility of Olaflur in water is good (164 g/l), the log Pow determined to be 1.94 (shown in IUCLID section 4.8 resp. 4.7). The vapour pressure of the solvent-free Olaflur can be estimated to be < 0.1 mbar at 20 °C.
The adsorption and desorption behaviour of Olaflur was not determined instead the adsorption coefficient (Koc) was estimated from the log Pow using the calculation program KOCWIN v2.00. Based on the log Pow of 1.94 a log Koc of 1.0446 (KOCWIN v2.00) was calculated. In accordance with column 2 of REACH Annex VIII, an Adsorption-/Desorption-Screening test (required in section 9.3.1) does not need to be conducted as Olaflur has a low potential for adsorption (log Koc = 1.0446).
