3,3,4,4,5,5,6,6,7,7,8,8,8-tridecafluorooctyl 2-chloropropenoic acid ester (CAS 96383-55-0) has a low water solubility (< 0.6 mg/L) and a moderate vapour pressure (ca. 4.9 Pa). Hence the substance is expected to evaporate from the water surface into the atmosphere. Furthermore the substance shows adsorptive properties, with a measured logKoc of 5.2. Hence, it can be expected that the substance will preferably distribute into the environmental compartments air, sediment and soil.
