Diethylaminopropylamine (DEAPA) is readily biodegradable. In relevant environmental conditions, it is not expected to have substitution process occurring between amino and hydroxyl groups. Therefore, the substance is not subject to hydrolysis.

DEAPA is not expected to bioaccumulate in aquatic or terrestrial organism tissues due to its high water solubility and its low log Kow. For the same reasons, the substance is not expected to sorb on soil particles.
