- Determination of exothermal reaction with DSC in air. The sample was weighed in an aluminium crucible. The measurement was done in the temperature range of the thermal effects with an heating rate of 10 K/min. under air atmosphere.

- Executive summary:
The sample was assessed for its self-heating properties via DSC in a preleminary test under non-GLP conditions. The sample was weighed in an aluminium crucible and heated with an heating range of 10 K/min. under air atmosphere from room temperature up to 500 °C.
It was observed, that the sample shows a strong exothermic reaction in the range between 260 and 400 °C. This reaction is refered to the decomposition process after melting.

Description of key information
The study is scientifically not necessary. By reason of a melting point of 215°C and of a DSC of the test item under ambient air, which shows no significant exothermic behaviour below 240°C, a seif ignition of the named substance under conditions According Test A.16 can be excluded.
